What is the opportunity?

QTS is seeking a full stack senior software developer for their Rates Derivatives pricing applications. This is a fast-paced business with frequently changing needs and requirements. Work with Dev Lead/Manager, business partners and various technology groups to deliver high quality products. Strive for continuous improvements of our processes, application designs and application execution

What will you do?


  • Code, test, debug, implement and support interest rate swaps pricing, risk and PnL
  • Provide development and Level 2 support along with other team members
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions
  • Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business
  • Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities
  • Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis

What do you need to succeed?


  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with extensive relevant industry experience
  • Working experience in Interest Rate Swap products pricing and valuations is plus.
  • Understanding of Reuters and Bloomberg market data feeds for interest rate derivative products.
  • Strong technical developer with solid experience hands on in Java 1.7+, Spring 4.0+, Distributed databases, Caching, REST API, Web Services and database technologies.
  • Solid experience in middleware messaging technologies like Solace, Tibco
  • Strong experience in HTML5, ReactJS is required. Experience in OpenFin is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of design patterns, data structures, algorithms and OO concepts
  • Knowledge of version control systems like SVN, GitHub and Jenkins and build control systems like maven and Gradle
  • Test driven Development experience is plus.
  • Unix/Windows system experience is preferred
  • Quick learner with ability to pick up new technologies/skills and business knowledge
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with exceptional communication skills required to interface with a highly engaged client group
