Code, test, debug, implement and support interest rate swaps pricing, risk and PnL- Provide development and Level 2 support along with other team members
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions
- Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business
- Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities
- Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with extensive relevant industry experience- Working experience in Interest Rate Swap products pricing and valuations is plus.
- Understanding of Reuters and Bloomberg market data feeds for interest rate derivative products.
- Strong technical developer with solid experience hands on in Java 1.7+, Spring 4.0+, Distributed databases, Caching, REST API, Web Services and database technologies.
- Solid experience in middleware messaging technologies like Solace, Tibco
- Strong experience in HTML5, ReactJS is required. Experience in OpenFin is a plus.
- Working knowledge of design patterns, data structures, algorithms and OO concepts
- Knowledge of version control systems like SVN, GitHub and Jenkins and build control systems like maven and Gradle
- Test driven Development experience is plus.
- Unix/Windows system experience is preferred
- Quick learner with ability to pick up new technologies/skills and business knowledge
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with exceptional communication skills required to interface with a highly engaged client group
